Product Description
"Zero-compromise" concealed carry grips for the Smith & Wesson J-Frame line. Before, wheelgun folks had to choose between shooting comfort (rubber grips) or carry comfort (wood or G10 grips). Recoil Rider revolver grips provide both, featuring the recoil absorption of rubber grips with the snag-free comfort of wooden grips. Plus, they reduce the weight for easier carry and improve the grip angle of your S&W J-Frame for a more natural point-of-aim. If you're carrying your revolver AIWB or in the pocket, these utilitarian grips will provide a superior shooting and CCW experience.
Features
- Absorb recoil: Recoil Rider revolver grips cover the backstrap with a rubbery material that mitigates shock. The hotter the ammo, the greater the reduction in recoil.
- Snag-free: Unlike traditional rubber grips, Recoil Rider revolver grips won't snag your clothing or rub against your skin when carrying AIWB or in the pocket.
- Natural point-of-aim: Improved grip angle mitigates the J-Frame's "Point-Down" feeling which required bending the wrist at an unnatural angle.
- Low-Profile: Conceals like boot grips but provides a three-finger grip with a spot for your pinky.
- Optimized trigger reach: Backstrap thickness provides a more natural and comfortable trigger finger placement.
- Lighter weight: Reduce the weight by over an ounce compared to traditional grips, offering the easiest CCW experience available.

There's a lot to say about these. The fit is snug and I have no doubt they'll stay in place. The texture and feel is best described as somewhere between rubber and plastic. Unlike rubber they don't get tacky with heat and sweat, unlike plastic they have a degree of "give". They are printed parts and as a result have a printed party's texture. If you've got a soft, candy ass stomach like me, this may irritate your skin. When they claim the angle of the grip creates a more point able pistol, they're not kidding. The sights on a 442 fall into place upon presentation. Give these a try and keep an eye on this company for what comes next.
The Recoil Rider grip is absolutely the best that I have found for the S&W J-Frame Centennial and shrouded hammer guns. It combines all the best elements that are desirable for a J-Frame grip – concealability; enough length for the third finger purchase; grippy material that grips your hand but not your clothes and a natural pointing grip angle – who could ask for anything more? I look forward to each new offering from this innovative manufacturer.
The factory grips on my 442 had a good feel, but were just too short. My new Recoil Rider grip has better feel and now my pinky doesn't feet left out. Even though it is a slip on, it seats well, and doesn't move.
Completely happy the the grip snd the company. Will recommend without reservation.
Really comfortable and concealable. The texture is softer like rubber but not tacky. Shirt doesn't get stuck to the grips like the stock ones. Shoots nice and adds some length on the trigger so my finger sits better on the trigger and doesn't wrap through. Very satisfied and very worth it!
