I researched all the well-known replacement grips. Chose RecoilRider Boot grips for my 642 and CCWs for my 640. Replaced factory grips. Unbelievable difference in felt recoil on both as well as much improved grip position. Very natural grip angle.
These are outstanding.

I got the large size and it helped reducing the felt recoil by a lot. Installation was very easy, especially after warming up the grip with a hair dryer. The removal of the original grip was a huge pain. I wish Recoil Rider would include the grip removal tool.

I had a set of G10 grips on my Kimber k6xs and and the recoil impulse wasn't terrible, but very noticeable!! Enter the Recoil Rider grip! This grip made shooting the snubby much more enjoyable and my accuracy improved because I wasn't anticipating the recoil as much!!! Great product!!!

Saw lots of reviews on these for many different revolvers especially the diamondback SDR went ahead and purchased and I couldn't be happier if not any bigger than the factory grip yeah it seems to hold three fingers the grip angle on it seems more natural as well doesn't tear up my stomach or stick to my shirt super happy

This grip is a game changer. Easy to install and it fits like a dream. I loved it so much that I went ahead and ordered a second one.

Just received my LCRX Grip..Perfect going to buy for my S&W 642...wish I had found these before spending $100's on grips that are now in my closet...You wont be disappointed!

I was disappointed the first time I took my S&W 638 to the range; in the vernacular, I couldn't hit a cow on the teat with a tin cup. The recoil was worse than I expected, and it rocked so much in my hand that the cylinder release cut a divot in my thumb knuckle.

I knew I needed better control, so I ordered a set of Recoil Rider grips. They went on with a bit of coaxing and I liked the feel of them, not too hard yet not too grippy either. My pinkie fit on the bottom (mostly) and the backstrap of the revolver was now covered, so I hoped that would mitigate some of sharp recoil. I haven't shot it a lot since then but what I have was definitely an improvement. I expect they'll perform even better with time and acclimation. So far, I'm pretty satisfied.

I have a neck injury that cost me the feeling in my hands, for years I have not been able to shoot much as a result. These grips are amazing! They allow me to get significantly more range time. Definitely adding them to all my revolvers! Thanks for an amazing product that actually works!

Second review, finally I took my Ruger sp101 9mm out with the recoil rider large grip and it is painless. The material be used is just perfect for revolver grips. This design is minimalist, yet just as comfy as the hogue mono grip when shooting. It doesn’t reduce recoil obviously, but it gives a comfortable surface area for recoil to spread out, in turn giving no hot spots and a more comfortable shooting experience. I had no trouble with clearance on the cylinder with moon clips. I could easily drop 500 rounds of +p(if I was rich). I only shot 40 rounds of 124 +p, and a box an a half of 115 federal target and half a box of Tula 115 steel case which may be nato spec they kicked more than the federal; about 130 rounds total( would shoot more but ammo is expensive). These grips real improved the ergonomics, I can get slightly higher on the gun, and with a proper revolver grip with my support hand thumb clamped behind the webbing of my shooting hand I can fight the recoil and the recoil can’t hurt me. Cutting straight to the facts theses grips 1. work as advertised, they made .357 very manageable with that little bit of squish combined with the texture and size. 2.The installation of the grip was painless and took less than five minutes from start to finish with the video as a guide. 3. The price is very reasonable and the shipping was quick . If your on the fence go ahead and buy one you're not going to regret it.

Great fit and good feel. Absorbs some shock and works with speedloaders.

Perfect fit for my Ruger LCRx 22mag, the grip is lighter than the original Hogue Grip that comes standard on the LCRx 22mag.
