Product Description
"Zero-compromise" concealed carry grips for the hammered Diamondback SDR revolver. Before, wheelgun folks had to choose between shooting comfort (rubber grips) or carry comfort (wood or G10 grips). Recoil Rider revolver grips provide both, featuring the recoil absorption of rubber grips with the snag-free comfort of wooden grips. Plus, they reduce the weight for easier carry and improve the grip angle of your Diamondback SDR for a more natural point-of-aim. If you're carrying your revolver AIWB or in the pocket, these utilitarian grips will provide a superior shooting and CCW experience.
Features
- Absorb recoil: Recoil Rider revolver grips cover the backstrap with a rubbery material that mitigates shock. The hotter the ammo, the greater the reduction in recoil.
- Snag-free: Unlike traditional rubber grips, Recoil Rider revolver grips won't snag your clothing or rub against your skin when carrying AIWB or in the pocket.
- Natural point-of-aim: Improved grip angle mitigates the SDR's "Point-Down" feeling which required bending the wrist at an unnatural angle.
- Low-Profile: Conceals like boot grips but provides a three-finger grip with a spot for your pinky.
- Optimized trigger reach: Backstrap thickness provides a more natural and comfortable trigger finger placement.
- Lighter weight: Reduce the grip weight by 25% compared to stock grips, offering the easiest CCW experience available.
Compatibility
- Fully Compatible with the Diamondback SDR.
- Speedloader Clearance: Tested compatible with the Speed Beez speed loader.
Weight Comparison
- Diamondback SDR (stock): 20.9 oz
- Diamondback SDR (Recoil Rider): 20.6 oz

Exceeded expectations! Fit, finish, concealment, and comfort are excellent. Purchased to replace the factory wood grips on my Diamondback SDR that look good, but not comfortable. Just shot 100 rounds of 38 special and big improvement. First ordered a G10 grip from a major brand advertised to fit the SDR. The bad news was that it didn't fit. The good news is that I discovered Recoil Rider.
Perfect! Just enough to catch the third finger without adding unnecessary bulk to handle; fits better than the original. The large Fit gives a better purchase for pocket carry and better control overall. Did my homework before coming to these particular grips. I couldn't be more pleased and satisfied.
Diamondback SDR and the Recoil Rider grips are the CHEFS KISS!!!!
...and No i am not being paid or being given any merch from anyone. Here is my humble review of both these items in the hopes that you out there reading who might be curious can make a better informed decision...The SDR has been flawless. Its the glass bead finish 2 inch barrel model. I have a total of about 500 rounds and after todays range session I consider it broken in and ready for Fall EDC. I ran over 150 rounds with a 50/50 mix of 38 special plus P and 357 mag. This was never possible before because the beautiful cherry Altamont grips were downright painful after a wheel or 2. Single Action and Double action were a joy and the fiber optic sights stayed in place! The softest 357 mag ammo I ran was Winchester Train and Defend 110 grain SJHP. Felt good and not like a sledgehammer. The Recoil Rider grips are everything that I have read on the Reddit forum and the website did a good job of describing them. They never got sticky like my rubber grips. They DID SOAK UP the recoil as was mentioned. I went with the standard size so my guess is the larger ones would be even better for recoil control but I don't feel it necessary to upgrade since the regular sized ones are good to go. If you can get over the price then make the jump and dont look back! Its nice to know we have another option now for us Revolver Aficionados!
THANKS FOR THE FAST SHIP. THE GRIPS ARE GREAT, GLAD I ORDERED THE LARGE SIZE, THEY HANDLE THE RECOIL QUITE WELL.
